We broke out of those stupid little games, into a world where we were supposedly free to make our own destinies... but... exit list

Truthfully, very little changed. In that civil, orderly little society sprites like me were still just part of the background. exit list

And of course when that world crumbled, when war began, we were thrust even further into the background! Fighters are valued now, not little walking targets. exit list

Though it wasn't her intention, Crystal's stupid war is forcing us to live out the roles we were programmed for. Considering her own refusal to fulfill her role, I'd bet she'd hate that bit of irony. exit list
